Selling online in Spanish-speaking Latin America means local payment methods, prices in local currency and, in most countries, electronic invoices to the tax authority.
Choose the platform
Local platforms price in local currency and come with local payments and carriers set up. Global platforms suit brands selling in several countries:

| Tiendanube | Free plan, then ARS 27,999 per month (Argentina price) (≈ USD 18.46) | Yes | Pricing |
| Shopify | From USD 39 per month | No | Pricing |

Offer local payments
Mercado Pago is widely used across the region; cards in monthly instalments (cuotas or meses sin intereses) are expected for larger purchases; cash vouchers such as OXXO in Mexico still matter for shoppers without cards.
Electronic invoicing by country
- Argentina: electronic invoices through ARCA (formerly AFIP).
- Mexico: CFDI invoices certified with the SAT.
- Colombia: electronic invoicing with the DIAN.
- Chile: electronic invoices and receipts (boletas) with the SII.
- Peru: electronic receipts with SUNAT.
Most platforms connect to invoicing apps for each country; check before you choose.
